A leading manufacturing company that produces cutting-edge transportation solutions for electric transit is seeking a passionate and tech-savvy Regional Sales Manager to join their team in a remote position based out of Chicago, IL! In this exciting role, you will be at the forefront of a new product in an exploding industry, responsible for driving sales of an electric vehicle line across the Midwest region. The role involves extensive travel to meet with school districts, dealers, and other key stakeholders, building strong relationships to penetrate and grow new markets. You will also be tasked with developing business strategies, leading sales efforts, and collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure the successful delivery of products to clients.

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $125,000 / year DOE

Regional Sales Manager Requirements:1+ year experience in sales within the transportation sectorProven relationships with end customers (school districts) or dealers in the industryExperience selling electric buses, preferably school busesBachelor s degree requiredHigh energy, tech-savvy, and passionate about electric vehicle technologyExceptional communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and manage a large sales territoryMust reside near a major airport in the Chicago areaRegional Sales Manager Responsibilities:

Lead sales efforts for the Electric School Bus product line in the Midwest region (MN, WI, MI, IL, IN, OH)Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including school districts and dealersConduct extensive travel within the region to meet potential clients and nurture relationshipsDevelop and execute business strategies to penetrate new markets and drive sales growthCollaborate with internal teams including engineering, procurement, and production to ensure customer satisfactionMonitor market trends, customer needs, and regulatory developments to align company initiativesPrepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential clientsManage contracts and proposals, ensuring timely follow-up and completion of sales processesReport on performance metrics and provide insights to senior managementParticipate in cold calling and other lead generation activities as neededBenefits:
