Job Description JOB SUMMARY It is the primary responsibility of the Marketing Coordinator to coordinate the planning and execution of all Casino Events for the property. All duties are to be performed in accordance with the departmental and property policies, practices and procedures ESSENTIAL DUITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (May include, but is not limited to the following) Coordinates and develop the planning, operation and execution of all casino events including, but not limited to, Slot and Table Games tournaments, giveaways, floor-wide promotions, and host events Plans, develops and creates programs, agendas, collateral and services according to each event's requirements; coordinates services for events, such as catering, signage, displays, special needs requirements, printing, and event security Guest relations as it involves interacting with guests during deployment of special events and promotions Assists the Marketing Manager and Director of Marketing in developing and adhering to operating budgets Assists in developing and implementing on and off property special events, tournaments, concerts and festivals for casino marketing purposes including obtaining applicable city permits Confers with Marketing staff to coordinate and assign event projects and details Assists Marketing department with property signage Input purchase requisition and check requests for special property events Responsible for proof reading Marketing collateral pieces; proof reading and approval of all mailers and promotional signage Responsible for maintaining accurate and thorough departmental records and reports in accordance to Internal Audit and Gaming Control Board rules Respond to guest surveys and inquiries through email and phone Monitors event activities to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and laws, and resolves any problems that arise Management of property website. Includes coordination with corporate digital team. Exemplify our core values, family style service, our mission and vision Exemplify our DEI (diversity, equity, inclusion) culture Perform other job-related duties as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES Gaming industry experience is preferred Marketing experience is preferred Must possess excellent communications and guest service skills Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including nights, weekends and holidays; shifts may change based on business needs Accurately perform all assigned job duties in a high-volume, fast-paced environment under frequent time pressures Ability to obtain a valid state gaming license Experience managing insurance claims a plus High School diploma or equivalent Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent work experience required (WHEN TO USE PREFERRED) PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT ( May be required in order to perform the essential functions of the position) Office environment Work environment may include smoke and variable temperature, lighting and noise levels Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods Must be able to complete tasks in an interruptive environment under time pressures Must be able to multi-task GUEST SERVICE (INTERNAL/EXTERNAL) STANDARDS : Employee is required to meet and deliver our core values, service standards, and family style service.
