HOME EVERY NIGHT! CDL Driver's day usually begins around 7:00 AM -- sometimes earlier -- and ends at approximately 4:30 PM -- generally no weekend work (hours may vary by location)
Loop truck drivers are part of a network that provides a vital service for our customers and branches. Proper task completion is crucial to providing the best customer service at each and every Lansing branch. As a Loop Truck Driver, you facilitate transferring building products on a predetermined weekly route. Your home base will be in our Manchester, NH location. You will support branches throughout the Northeast region by transferring building products between branch locations.
Responsibilities:Driver is responsible for pre/post trip truck checks and properly securing your loadDriver promotes efficiency by transferring products between the Lansing branchesDriver facilitates this process by making sure transferred products are delivered to the appropriate branchDuties include:
Verifying quantities and types of material at each stopLoading product on our truck, delivering the products to the appropriate location, and unloading the truck at the destinationPreventing damage to products in transitKeeping track of appropriate transfer paperworkMaximizing use of truck capacity without exceeding weight limitsQualifications:
Lives the mission statement
Strong customer service skills, high integrity and a positive attitude
Valid CDL A license required
1C Hoisting License is a plus, training can be provided
Excellent driving record
Ability to lift up to 80+lbs
Willingness to load and unload products, in addition to driving the truck
Ability to work independently and to work from a schedule, requiring on-time deliveries and stops
