HOW YOU’LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
40%: Under leadership of Senior Director of GTM, develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Carter’s, OshKosh and Little Planet brands for stores and ecommerce
Oversee go-to-market strategy and execution with internal & external creative, buying, planning and channel marketing teams to drive traffic and sales to the DTC Retail business
Consults with cross-functional teams to ensure product, buying and retail needs are met with Marketing promotional cadence and prioritization (i.e. Monthly Strategy Meetings)
Assist Sr. Director in preparation and execution of quarterly LT planning meetings with Retail
Lead go-to-market channel partners, ensuring all brand communications are aligned with broader retail & marketing strategy
Oversees GTM Specialist in maintaining single source of truth DTC calendar, bringing forward recommendations for cadence changes to Senior Director as necessary
Oversees GTM Specialist to ensure pricing, product and promotions are accurate across all customer touchpoints and creative assets
Influence timing and strategy of marketing/channel events and activations to drive optimal business impact and align with retail objectives
20%: Lead all national Value Marketing initiatives
Lead brand strategy for lifting consumer value perceptions through pricing, promotions, product features and benefits
Lead marketing hindsight process, keeping a pulse on what messages and tactics resonate to inform promotional planning
Kick off creative reviews with LT to ground in promotional and business landscape
20%: Leads promotional testing for the Marketing function
Identifies and builds business cases for promotional testing to drive sales on site or reduce workload
Provides updates and recommendations at key stage gates of the test, getting MLT and retail alignment to go/not go
Sees approved projects through national launch, ensuring the pacing of new features or strategies aligns with the greater marketing calendar
20% - Promotional Offer Development & Testing
Works with Senior Director of GTM to develop pipeline of new promotional tactic ideas from concept to launch
Leads quarterly innovation sessions with key cross-functional partners to keep ongoing fresh list of ideas for the brand promotional calendar
Work with consumer insights on to vet new value messaging and campaigns with the consumer
Collaborate with channels, testing, and analytics teams to report on special offers and promotional tactics
WE’D LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF:
Must have:
Minimum 7 years of relevant work experience
Minimum 5 years of marketing, calendar, planning or go-to-market experience at a major consumer brand
Deep understanding of brand marketing fundamentals (positioning, annual brand strategy and planning, campaign strategy and brief development, integrated campaign planning and execution)
Excellent project management skills, with ability to consistently achieve or beat deadlines
Preferred skills and experience:
Apparel, retail, QSR or CPG marketing experience strongly preferred
Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed environments where cross-functional collaboration and leading through influence are critical
Demonstrated ability to turn consumer insights into brand actions
Strong bias for action and desire for ownership & accountability
Inclination to seek and analyze data from a variety of sources to support decisions and to align others with the organization's overall strategy
Takes entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing new, innovative ideas that will stretch the brand and push the boundaries within the industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
