Position Summary
Responsibilities
Education/TrainingBachelor's degree or higher from an approved program in physical therapy.
Licensure/Certification• Maintains current Physical Therapist license in the State of Florida. Temporary permit acceptable.• Maintains current BLS/HealthCare Provider certification.
Works with patients who have impairments, limitations, disabilities, or changes in physical function and health status resulting from injury, disease or other causes. The Physical Therapist role includes examination, evaluation, diagnosis, prognosis and interventionstoward achieving the highest functional outcomes for each patient or client.

Recognized as a Primary StrokeCenter, a 24-hour Emergency Department treats children and adults, including a designatedgeriatric section for specialized emergency care.
