Position Summary:Incumbent partners with management to provide financial analysis, planning, evaluation and performance monitoring. Assists all Medical Center users in analysis of high level forecasting and review of service-lines . Provides financial management and planning information to senior executives, leadership and clinicians. Develops, analyzes and summarizes high-level decision-making data for leadership, committees and University-wide bodies/agencies (OSHPD, HCFA, etc). Analyzes financial and clinical impacts of business alternatives in order to develop strategic solutions. Serves as a key resource to the Medical Center for all high-level Decision Support requests.What It Takes to be Successful

Required Qualifications:Understanding of business planning including analysis, budgeting, feasibility studies, financial pro forma and return analysisUnderstanding of business planning including analysis, budgeting, feasibility studies, and implementation.Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned dutiesMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobMust be results-driven to drive quantifiable resultsMinimum 5 years' experience in a health system based environment working with decision support systems or relevant financial and operational analysis experienceInternal or external financial consulting (or equivalent experience)Excellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishEffective communicator able to understand the needs of a variety of audience members and tailor a message accordinglyDemonstrated knowledge of Contract Management Systems or Decision Support Systems and subsystemsDemonstrated advanced level of analytical skillBachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related fieldAnalytical ability to develop, analyze and interpret application of data.Ability to plan, set expectations (for self and others), and accomplish multiple objectives within specific timeframes.Ability to manage risk and ambiguity on a projectAbility to maintain an organized approach, clarity of purpose, and goal orientation in a rapidly changing environment involving multiple stakeholders of various levels from throughout the organization.Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System
