Job Title: Assembly Team Leader
Job Description
The Assembly Team Leader will be hands-on and leading a team of two assemblers, ensuring all products conform to or exceed standard operating procedures. This role is vital in overseeing employees, maintaining a quality product output, and driving the success of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The leader will also be responsible for troubleshooting, resolving day-to-day issues, and managing inventory accuracy.
Responsibilities
Communicate regularly with associates and leadership to update on business objectives.
Create, maintain, and manage Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for departmental and training success.
Assist in day-to-day troubleshooting and resolutions.
Support and drive the success of the ERP system.
Oversee all packing/kitting operations and monitor inventory for accuracy.
Meet productivity, quality, and continuous improvement objectives.
Manage customer and company priorities for outbound goods and coordinate scheduling.
Count, sort, and weigh inbound goods to ensure accurate receipt of items.
Communicate with production and inventory control departments to resolve discrepancies.
Perform cycle counts and manage inventory discrepancies with production control.
Order packing supplies for the assembly department.
Perform multiple tasks and manage various projects simultaneously while performing other assigned duties.

Work Environment
You will be working in a climate-controlled environment, requiring the use of steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and ear protection. The role involves physical activity including standing for extended periods, lifting products (10-50 lbs), and continuous movement such as reaching, pulling, lifting, bending, stooping, and using stairs. You will also handle packaging materials, tools, sharp objects, adhesives, and boxes.
