If you're a proactive problem-solver with a passion for data driven insights, continuous learning, and an eye for detail, this is your chance to make a real impact and elevate your career to the next level!The Financial Analyst reports to the Sr. Manager FP&A and supports the entire organization in a variety of corporate FP&A initiatives to drive finance, strategy, and operations solutions across DAT.What You'll DoSupport Finance team in day-to-day tasks, including implementing various financial analysis, forecast and budget processes, and preparing relevant deliverablesSupport finance efforts to add value to business partners across the organization, including data analysis, tracking, and reporting on operating metrics & KPIs. Perform ad-hoc analysis and reporting as neededWork closely with Accounting team to provide audit and month end supportAssist the Finance team with workflows required to close out month end including Partnerships and product reportingSupport Finance team with creation and maintenance of financial models, including but not limited to revenue forecasts, expense planning modelsExecute on monthly commissions process including calculation reports, pay out emails, field questions and ad-hoc requestsCreate and update management and Executive Leadership Team presentation materialsPartner with FP&A strategy team on stagegate models, presentation materials, and other general items as neededConsistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance
The Skills and Experience You'll BringBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.2-4+ years of related work experience and/or customer facing roleExperience working in a collaborative role within financial and/or data analysis a plusProficiency with the google suite of tools (Slides, Sheets, Docs)Strong technical abilities demonstrating knowledge of Microsoft Excel analysis skillsBasic SQL knowledge or willingness to learnStrong understanding of financial planning and accounting conceptsMotivated self-starter and team player; ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionallyExcellent problem-solving skillsComfortable working in a fast paced environment with ambiguous and/or iterative fact-setsHigh attention to detail is a mustWorks under general supervision with relatively little guidance necessary, can take direction wellExcellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skillsSelf-motivated and strong appetite to learnExperience and/or knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP) a plus.Enterprise SaaS experience preferred.Knowledge of the trucking industry is a plus
