Assembler
Reports to: Assembly Team Lead Department: Assembly\ Classification: Non-Exempt Division:\ Date: 10/24/2024 Approved:
\ Job Summary:
To assemble finished commercial dishwashers using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners. Dishwashers will be built as designated by the customer.
\ Essential Functions:\ \
- - Checks Production Schedule to determine required assembly and any special options. Interpret documents such as diagrams, schematics, schematics, blueprints, or other verbal or written instructions.
{=html} - - Work with other members of the line or group to assemble dishmachine
{=html} - - Manually position, align, and install all necessary components for assembly.
{=html} - - Inspect, operate, and test completed products to verify functioning, capabilities, and conforms to customer specifications.
{=html} - - Checks stock bins for adequate supplies of sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners. Contacts Team Lead if shortages exists or incorrect parts are in bins.
{=html} - - Meet all safety requirements of the company.
{=html} - - Maintains clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
{=html} - - Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts, and sub-assemblies, per customer order.
{=html} - - From experience, resolves assembly problems. Reports other problems to Team Lead or supervisor for assistance.
{=html} - - When line is down, may perform product repair on items set aside by quality assurance department.
{=html} - Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- - Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
{=html} - - Ability in using tools and machines.
{=html} - Excellent hand-eye coordination
\ \ Education and Experience:
- - High School diploma or GED preferred.
{=html} - 6 months to a year assembly experience
Physical Requirements:
- - Prolonged periods of standing.
{=html} - - Lifting 50-75 pounds at times.
{=html} - - Finger Dexterity-ability to make precisely coordinated movements of the fingers of one or both hands to grasp, manipulate or assemble very small objects.
{=html} - - Repetitive movement of hands including: Simple grasping, power grasping, fine manipulation and pushing/pulling.
{=html} - - Bending and twisting neck
{=html} - - Bending/twisting waist
{=html} - Reach above and below shoulder height.
