Clinical Supervisor , you will oversee City Program & Detox Unit by providing clinical guidance and direction.Must possess thorough understanding of ASAM, Substance Use and Mental Health Disorders.Must have prior supervisory experience in an inpatient treatment program.Previous assessment experience required. Must be able to form a diagnostic impression by using bio-psych-socials and other assessment tools to determine the level of care needed by the patient, including patient strengths, problem areas, and the areas of clinical and medical concerns, impressions, recommendations, and developing a diagnostic summary.Salary: $65,000 Annually

In this role, you will organize and oversee the daily clinical activities and duties of the Intake Program; supervising staff; communicating with staff, patients and family; and ensuring that the facility offers the highest level of patient care.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Maintains employee schedules that provide adequate coverage to ensure safety for both clients and employees. Primary contact for referral sources & maintains positive relationships, resolves problems and projects a positive image of the agency at all times. Develops and implements systems to organize and monitor work activities.
Providing clinical supervision to staff responsible for delivering services to individuals with mental health disorders.Overseeing client services and ensuring compliance with established program standards and service delivery objectives.Auditing client records.Assisting in interviewing, selecting, evaluating, scheduling and disciplining assigned staff.Orienting and training staff.Serving as a resource to assigned staff in identifying and resolving complex case problems.Assuming client caseload in response to workload or staffing shortagesEducation and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in social work, psychology, counseling, sociology. Master's degree preferred.3 -5 years of clinical experience in the treatment of mental health disorders with at least 1 year of supervisory experience is required.Related work experience with program specific population (adult).Ability to work independently.CADC, LPC, LCPC, LSW, or LCSW required.Ability to exercise discretion and use independent judgment in making decisions.Ability to promote positive behavior and manage resistant behavior.At least twenty-one (21) years of age.Valid driver's license from employee's state of residence.Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.Why Should You Consider Abraxas?
