This position will work onsite at one of our residential programs in Marienville, Morgantown, or South Mountain, PA.
The Onboarding & Recruiting Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely execution and completion of the onboarding journey for multiple programs; manages the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a great experience for new employees and a smooth start into their roles.

Onboarding & Recruiting Specialist
to help our growing team expedite the hiring and onboarding process at Abraxas Youth & Family Services.
As a
Onboarding & Recruiting Specialist , you will:
Own the onboarding journey of new hires.Walk candidates through the recruitment lifecycle and remain consistent in engagement of candidate, provide updates and communicating next steps as appropriate.Assist screening resumes and conducting initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications and fit.Assist scheduling in-person and virtual interviews of qualified candidates.This
Onboarding & Recruiting Specialist
position is the perfect stepping-stone for someone looking to eventually move into a Recruiter or HR role. You must be driven, have strong grammar and writing skills, think outside of the box and enjoy speaking with people.
MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. (Associate or bachelor's degree in human resources or similar field preferred) andA minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of related HR, Recruiting and/or payroll experience.OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:
At least twenty-one (21) years of age.Criminal clearances (Act 33 and 34, specific State & child clearances and, if necessary, FBI).Non-communicable diseases physical exam and drug screening.Valid driver's license from employee's state of residence.Valid registered vehicle insurance.Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.Why Should I Consider Abraxas?
