Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover and improve their physical mobility, strength, and overall function. The ideal candidate will be motivated, detail-oriented, and have a strong commitment to patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients, focusing on improving mobility, strength, and functionality.Administer therapeutic exercises, massage, and other interventions as directed by the Physical Therapist.Monitor patients' progress and report any changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist.Educate patients and their families on exercises and activities to continue at home.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care, including treatment sessions and progress notes.Ensure a clean, organized, and safe environment for patients and staff.Assist in scheduling and managing patient appointments as needed.Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to provide holistic and patient-centered care.Qualifications:
Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (or eligibility to obtain licensure).CPR and First Aid certification preferred.Strong interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.Previous experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting is a plus.Benefits:
