JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for manufacturing of various metal enclosures, assemblies, structures, and complex machinery in preparation of final assembly, must be versatile and willing to work on various tasks within the scope of work
Responsibilities include:Constructing metal assemblies, ranging from intricate to large complex structuresFastening parts using bolts, screws, rivets, etc.Assembling both finished products and the pieces that go into themReading and understanding blueprints to determine how to connect parts and use correct hardwareUsing tools, machinery, and hands to assist in the manufacturing processCutting, aligning, and fitting together structural metal partsRiveting pieces togetherCaulking, paint prep, and final assembly of enclosure to tank and or sub frame and any trim or accessories installedCleaning and preparing unit for completionCleaning and organizing one's work area on a daily basisAdditional items as assigned by managerPRINCIPAL CONTACTS INSIDE/OUTSIDE THE COMPANY
This position interacts with shop supervisors, other assemblers, project managers and engineers.
COMPETENCY OR POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Must maintain a safe work ethic and follow shop safety rulesMust be able to read blueprints, schematics, assembly instructions and measuring devicesMust be mechanically inclined and have skills in metal constructionMust be able to work in a team environment as well as on his/her ownMust be able to complete projects in a timely fashion and to meet schedules and ship datesAll Armor employees are also expected to demonstrate Armor's core values of being:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent is requiredTech / Vocational training is preferredAny certificates or welding skills are preferredEQUIPMENT USED
This position will use a drill press, band saw, overhead crane, gantry crane, various hand tools, battery drills, electric grinders, and pneumatic tools (cutting wheels, rivet guns, ratcheting drivers etc.)
WORKING AND PHYSICAL CONDITIONS
This position must be able to work standing for long periods, work efficiently and safely on ladders, be able to lift up to 30 lbs., and be able to maintain steady work ethic.JOB SUMMARY
