Who You Are:
As the Director of Business Development at Citian, you will be at the forefront of building and driving our Sales pipeline and identifying opportunities with new clients. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and implement a plan that will not only achieve revenue targets, but also align with the company's overall objectives. This requires a deep understanding of the Enterprise SaaS industry, the government sales cycle, and the ability to identify market trends and opportunities.
You will lead the proposal writing process and efforts and partner directly with the Sales team to close opportunities. You will attend industry events as needed to help build our brand and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. You will manage a robust Business Development pipeline and provide accurate forecasting to our Executive team on a regular basis. Your exceptional communication and negotiation skills will be essential in effectively presenting and selling the company's offerings.
Required Qualifications:
Over 10 years of experience in Sales and Business DevelopmentStrong proposal writing and RFP experienceStrong understanding of the Government sales cycle and Enterprise SaaS industryDemonstrated expertise in advanced sales techniquesAbility to conduct research, analyze data, and make data-informed decisionsProven track record of consistently exceeding sales targetsExperience cultivating profitable customer relationshipsProven ability to thrive and be a leader in a fast-moving environmentDriven self-starter with high initiative and confidenceExcellent communication and presentation skillsAbility to travel to various local and national events - Travel will be regional and nationalAdvanced proficiency in SalesforceEmbrace the startup mentality by wearing multiple hats and stepping outside traditional job roles as needed.
