Regional VP, Community FI - West
What does a successful Regional VP (Community FI - West) do at Fiserv?
You will lead a team of Sales Leaders focused on the delivery of predictable and profitable sales attainment for the SMB market. You will have sales responsibilities and work with teams, clients and partners in the west.
What you will do:
Developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth and revenue for the organization, with a focus on partnering with community banks and financial institutions to capture SMB (small-to-medium business) market share.
Leading, mentoring, and managing a high-performing sales team, including sales leaders and account executives, ensuring consistent achievement of sales goals and professional development.
Building and maintaining strong relationships with community banks, financial institutions, and key stakeholders to foster strategic partnerships and drive business expansion in the SMB payments sector.
Actively coaching and mentoring on all phases of sales lifecycle, including new lead generation, nurturing sales opportunities, closing business and activating new merchants.
Having a deep understanding of the payments industry, with a focus on financial services, SMB market needs, and the competitive landscape. Staying informed about market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies in the fintech space.
Owning and driving the revenue targets and key performance metrics, ensuring the team meets or exceeds goals by increasing new business, upselling existing accounts, and improving customer retention.
Partnering closely with product, marketing, and customer success teams to align on go-to-market strategies, product development, and customer engagement for payments solutions.
Optimizing sales processes, pipeline management, and forecasting accuracy to improve efficiency and predictability of sales results.
Advocating for the voice of the customer (community banks and SMBs), ensuring solutions meet their needs and enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Regularly reviewing and analyzing team performance, pipeline activity, and revenue outcomes to make data-driven decisions and course corrections as necessary.
What you will need to have:
Has experience selling merchant acquiring solutions to the SMB market. You can build a sales culture of independent sales executives and sales leaders.
Minimum 12 years of sales and sales management experience.
Experience selling merchant acquiring solutions to the SMB market.
Experience managing a successful sales team selling direct to SMB merchants.
A proven track record of exceeding sales targets on a consistent basis.
Demonstrated success at leading field sales organizations of at least 50 sales professionals.
Ability to travel 50%+ across the US.
Bachelor’s degree required.
What would be great to have:
Master’s Degree a plus.
Salary Range
$90,900.00 - $193,500.00
These pay ranges apply to employees in New York and California. Pay ranges for employees in other states may differ.
