About iteach
iteach is a competency-based educator preparation program helping to fill the void the nation faces with the unprecedented teacher shortage. iteach enables paraprofessionals, substitute teachers, and others seeking to become teachers to get the affordable, time-saving education they need to become licensed. Our program combines the convenience of online learning with a full year of face-to-face mentorship during a teaching residency. Notably, iteach is the only non-university educator preparation program to achieve accreditation from the Council for Accreditation of Educator Preparation (CAEP).
Location: Remote, available from anywhere within the U.S.
Travel: Up to 10% primarily to accreditation conferences and seminars, as needed.
The Opportunity
The Senior Manager of Accreditation and Compliance supports all institutional accreditation, accountability, and compliance processes for iteach. The Senior Manager is responsible for managing accreditation renewals, ensuring adherence to accreditor and state standards, and leading the reporting and auditing processes required by regulatory bodies. This role ensures compliance at the institutional level, working closely with internal and external stakeholders to maintain and improve compliance systems. The Senior Manager, Accreditation and Compliance reports to the Director, Community and Government Relations.
What You'll Do
Accreditation Management
Manage institutional accreditation renewal processes, ensuring adherence to accreditor and state standards.Compliance Oversight
Oversee compliance with state and accreditor standards, managing reporting and auditing requirements to meet regulatory deadlines.Data Management
Oversee the collection and submission of Title II and ASEP data reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Stakeholder Communication
Serve as the primary liaison with accrediting bodies and state regulators, ensuring effective communication and timely submission of required documentation.Process Improvement & Systems
Work closely with internal teams to implement systems and improvements for ongoing compliance with accreditation and regulatory requirements.Identify gaps in compliance processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and alignment with evolving standards.Other Duties
Support the team with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed to help meet evolving organizational goals and objectives.Qualifications
Master's degree required5+ years of experience in compliance, accreditation, or regulatory roles, preferably within the education sectorProven track record of managing accreditation and regulatory compliance processes, including experience with state educator preparation programsStrong knowledge of state and federal compliance standards related to educator preparation programs and accreditationStrong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple compliance projects simultaneouslyExpertise in data analysis and reporting, with experience using data management software (ex. Tableau, Salesforce)Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear, detailed reports and liaise effectively with accreditors and regulatory bodiesAbility to collaborate across departments and with external stakeholdersHigh attention to detail and thoroughness in managing compliance documents, data submissions, and accreditation materials
Compensation Range
The compensation range for this position is $82,900 - $105,000.
As part of our commitment to pay equity, new hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary between the salary band minimum and the salary band midpoint depending on qualifications, location, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role.
