Financial Reporting Senior

Looking to join a fast-growing oil & gas company here in Houston? The Financial Reporting Senior will be responsible for preparing financial statements in compliance with SEC requirements, compiling internal financial reporting packages and research new technical guidance and execute the implementation of new pronouncements. The Financial Reporting Senior will work directly with leaders across the organization and should be detail oriented, tech savvy and have strong time management skills. What you'll do:Assist with the preparation and coordination of the company's SEC filings (10K, 10Q, 8K, etc.) and ensure compliance with SEC reporting regulations.Research technical accounting issues and determine proper accounting treatment.Ensure revenue and leases are properly recorded in accordance with ASC 606 and 842.Communicate with leaders across the organization to gather financial information.Who you are:

Bachelor's in Accounting3+ years financial reporting experience (Big4 or industry)CPA highly preferredStrong technical accounting and SEC reporting experience. Experience with ASC 606 and 842 highly preferred.Why work here:

What does this position pay?Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $90,000 to $110,000 per year. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
