The Safety & Compliance Manager will provide strategic direction and oversight for the organization's Environment, Health, Safety, and Regulatory Compliance across multiple locations and states. This role includes managing EHS programs, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and overseeing risk management initiatives related to OSHA, EPA, DOT, FDA Good Manufacturing Practices, and other regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead compliance training and reporting to regulatory agenciesImplement a new EHS management system to enhance safety and foster continuous improvementDevelop comprehensive training programs on health & safety regulationsEnsure compliance with federal/state regulations and industry standardsMonitor KPIs and report to executive leadershipManage risk and implement compliance solutionsFacilitate audits and regulatory inquiriesDevelop and oversee incident reporting and CAPA programManage DMS/SOP and OSHA/Federal Compliance reportingImplement EHS Compliance Inspection & Auditing programCollaborate with HR on RTW program and Workers' CompensationAnalyze accident reports and establish root cause analysisLead compliance efforts for local, state, and federal regulations
Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Business, Occupational Health & Safety, or Process EngineeringMinimum of 10 years of experience in EHS Compliance programsExperience in manufacturing/distribution/warehousing/3PLCertification in ISO, cGMP, HACCP, HAZMAT/DOT, or other related areasProficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPointStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and leadership skills
