Job Summary/Basic Function
Business Office Administrative Assistant will assist in the execution of various business administration duties such as financial record keeping, invoicing, conducting inventory, tracking sales, making deposits, among other necessary business matters. This job fosters computer and organizational skills, problem solving, creative thinking, communication, and more. Supervising of other student employees, managing and marketing the details of assigned projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications
Knowledge of General Accounting practices and Business administration experience of office and clerical work. Students have the opportunity to build on communication, self-confidence, time-management, and leadership skills.
Preferred QualificationsEnrolled in at least 6 credit hours at Shepherd University.BADM/ACCT Degree-seeking student.Must be have completed minimum 2 years of the Business degree program OR have equivalent qualifying work experience.Preferred applicants are to be skilled at using computer software technologies such as Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook.
