CFOLong Island, NY200-300kThe Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will be a key member of the executive management team, responsible for managing the financial actions of the company. This role is crucial to the manufacturing operations, overseeing all aspects of financial strategy, planning, management, and control.Key Responsibilities :Strategic Financial Leadership :Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s long-term business objectives.Provide financial forecasts, budgeting, and modeling to support decision-making.Lead initiatives to optimize profitability, control costs, and manage working capital.Oversee risk management, tax planning, and investment strategies.
Financial Operations & Compliance :Direct and supervise the Controller, AR, and AP departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, cash flow management, and compliance with financial regulations.Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and ensure strong internal controls.Coordinate audits (internal/external) and ensure timely resolutions of any audit issues.
Leadership & Team Management :Lead and mentor the financial team, including the Controller and AR/AP departments, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Provide guidance and development opportunities to financial team members.Collaborate with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making.
Financial Planning & Analysis :Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, providing insights to drive operational efficiencies.Monitor and manage cash flow, liquidity, and capital requirements.Drive cost management initiatives and recommend cost-saving opportunities.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/CPA preferred).8+ years of financial management experience, with at least 5 years in a senior financial leadership role within the manufacturing industry.Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and industry best practices.Experience managing AR, AP, and controlling functions.Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.Proven ability to drive financial performance and strategic growth in a manufacturing environment.Key Competencies :Leadership & Team ManagementStrategic Financial PlanningRisk Management & ComplianceAnalytical Thinking & Decision-MakingFinancial Reporting & PresentationCommunication & Stakeholder EngagementEmail resume to: frimie@maiplacement.com
