What You'll Do:

Work collaboratively with intra and interdepartmental staff to administer and oversee treatment for behavioral health patients utilizing nationally recognized treatment standards and documenting utilizing an electronic health record systemProvide direction and guidance to institutional psychiatristsManage clinical policy and program development and oversightPerform duties in accordance with scope of practice; ODRC policies, procedures, protocols; and related American Correctional Association standardsParticipate in continuous quality improvement meetings and activities, including peer reviewsEngage in collaborative agreements, as neededProvide direct patient careShare responsibilities of 24-hour off-site on-call as needed (provision of on-call services are included as part of the normal job duties and do not garner extra compensation)Benefits of working for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction include:

Qualifications

Certificate to practice medicine as issued by State Medical Board pursuant to Sections 4731.14 & 4731.281 of Revised Code.
