Support Capability
Metrea Management (MAM) provides central services to 11 global capability units via Operations, Solutions, Strategy, Legal, and Finance teams. MAM's Operations team is searching for a Head of Change Management candidate to lead our Portfolio Development (PDEV) support capability.
Position Summary
The Head of Change Management will play a pivotal role in advancing Metrea's Support Capabilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design and documentation of comprehensive processes and frameworks as well as facilitating their enterprise-wide adoption. Other areas of responsibility include evaluating and harmonizing enterprise systems, supporting strategic growth initiatives, and developing high-impact centers of support excellence.
The position requires a solution-oriented approach to organizational design, with flexibility to adapt strategies as needed. Key duties involve collaborating with the Investment Team on M&A activity, overseeing the cadence and reporting cycles of the Operations Support Capability Group, and managing projects across cross-functional and dynamically hierarchical teams. Success in this role requires maintaining effective communication, an aptitude for managing and embracing change, and fostering strong relationships across both Support and Core Capability Groups. The ideal candidate is a versatile professional with a broad skill set and diverse interests spanning multiple domains.
Role and Responsibilities
PDEV RESPONSIBILITIES: Generating & Improving Metrea Support Capabilities ("ON")
Document Comprehensive Frameworks and Processes:
Utilize consistent knowledge management principles to ensure enterprise-wide adoption of documented frameworks and processes.
Publish Frameworks and Artifacts:
Release frameworks with necessary artifacts, defining roles and responsibilities across relevant Support Capability Groups to support organic and strategic growth initiatives.
Analyze and Prioritize Enterprise Projects:
Evaluate existing systems and frameworks to identify and prioritize high-value enterprise projects for COO consideration.
Develop High-Value Centers of Excellence:
Assist in transforming Support Capabilities into efficient, responsive, and high-impact centers of excellence.
Enhance PDEV's Capabilities:
Identify growth areas within PDEV's knowledge, core competencies, and capacity, and establish a systematic approach to professional development and talent acquisition to build a high-performing team.
Maintain Pulse on Enterprise Priorities:
Keep a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of key topics, concepts, programs, and initiatives critical to enterprise leadership.
Assist COO with Special Projects:
Provide strategic support and tactical surge capacity to the COO for critical special projects and initiatives
TEAMATE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing Support Capacity across Metrea ("IN")
Collaborate with Investment Team:
Work closely with the Investment Team and coordinate across the Operations Support Capability Group to support assessments related to strategic acquisitions and execute against integration plans.
Support Portfolio Growth:
Contribute to the expansion of the current portfolio by aiding in the organic establishment of new Core Capability Units and realignment of existing entities.
Systems Integration:
Lead or support the integration of Core Capability Units and Support Capabilities into Enterprise Systems of Record (e.g., ERP, HRIS, SCM, CRM, etc.).
Project Management Expertise:
Deliver project management expertise to multidisciplinary internal teams throughout the lifecycle of enterprise harmonization initiatives and organizational design transformations.
Maintain Operational Cadence:
Oversee, evolve, communicate, and enforce the Operations Support Capability Group's battle rhythm and reporting cycles.
Organize and Lead Key Engagements:
Organize and chair key engagements within the Portfolio Business Block.
Develop and Sustain Relationships:
Build and maintain strong relationships with teammates across both the Support Capability Groups and Core Capability Groups.
Assist Capture and Bid Teams:
Provide input and assistance to capture and bid proposal teams on key business opportunities where value-add potential exists.
Skills and Experience Planning, Implementation, and Change Management:
Demonstrated expertise in operational planning, executing complex projects, and managing business process change initiatives to drive successful outcomes. Operations Management:
Proven ability to oversee and optimize operational processes, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in daily operations. Operational Due Diligence for M&A Activity:
Experience coordinating and conducting thorough due diligence and analysis for mergers and acquisitions, identifying key operational risks and opportunities. Post-M&A Integration:
Skilled in managing the integration of acquired entities, ensuring seamless alignment of systems, processes, and teams. Agile Organizational Design:
Proficiency in designing and implementing agile organizational structures that support flexibility and responsiveness to changing business needs and objectives. Shared Services Coordination and Execution:
Expertise in coordinating and executing shared services functions to enhance operational efficiency and service delivery across the organization. C-Suite Directed Special Projects:
Experience managing and executing high-impact projects directed by C-suite executives, demonstrating the ability to handle complex and strategic initiatives. Communicative Range and Excellent Presentation Skills:
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including senior leadership. Strong Attention to Detail:

Work Environment This job requires a home office setting suitable for remote work.
Travel Travel requirements are 20-40% to both CONUS and OCONUS locations.

Required Education, Experience and Certificates
Required Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent relevant experience. Preferred Education: MBA or graduate degree in field relevant to the role and Metrea's mission. Experience: 8+ years of progressive leadership experience associated with aerospace and defense, technology, management consulting, systems implementation, and/or post-M&A integration.
