With your strong background in construction management and exceptional leadership skills, you will be responsible for ensuring projects are executed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards. on the project, not

in the project. While minor field work may be required, you will collaborate with trades and support staff to perform all site work through reliable planning, scheduling, and coordinating all the project’s resources. Ultimately, you “make the dream come true” by delivering an amazing product and experience for our clients.Essential FunctionsManage 1-3 projects in construction and support 1-2 projects in design at any given point in timeManage your own daily schedules and weekly routines, balancing site vs office timeDeliver projects on time and on budget, ensuring all contract obligations are satisfiedProvide exceptional customer service and clear communication through weekly walkthroughs and regular updatesDevelop and maintain good rapport with trade partners, city officials, and inspectors while advocating and negotiating solutions that benefit the company, client, and project.Regularly update schedules in Buildertrend (project management software) and communicate changes to all involvedMonitor and control project budgets in Buildertrend, including trade billing, in-house labor, and materialsControl the scope of work and clearly communicate/negotiate any changes with trades and clientsCollaborate with Logistics Coordinator to ensure custom selections and materials make it to the jobsite on timeAssist Design and Development by providing critical insight into projects early in the processAssist development of construction documents by reviewing scopes of work, trade pricing, and project budgetsClose out construction phase of a project by completing a final punchlist, facilitating final walkthrough with the client, and hosting a project “tear down” meeting to document areas for improvementParticipate in weekly Production meetings and weekly one-on-one meetings for departmental and personal growthAssist Production Manager to conceptualize and implement departmental improvementsEducation, Experience, and Skills Required8+ years of Residential Construction/Renovation experience, especially in older homes4+ years of Project Management experienceAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, including site plans, floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and structural detailsProficiency in MS Word, MS Excel.
