Selectek has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Accounting Manager. The primary focus of the Accounting Manager will be to ensure the organization's financial records remain accurate while meeting reporting deadlines. This individual will be tasked with establishing internal controls and guidelines for preparing transactions that comply with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) as well as coordinating the budget preparation process to ensure financial reporting accuracy.Essential Job Duties:
Prepare monthly financial statements including sales reports, balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash forecasts.Prepare the annual budget, along with updating quarterly forecasts based on performance.Reconcile monthly sales reports and order intake reports by product groups, along with revenue recognition.Perform account receivable functions including deposits and collections.Reconcile monthly cash receipts to customer invoices and reconcile between payments in advance.Generate and send monthly statements to customers.Perform all activities related to the accounts payable function including reviewing, coding, and processing payments.Reconcile affiliate-company payables to customer sales and confirm month-end balances.Works with various exchange ratesMaintain a fixed asset schedule along with capitalization and disposal of fixed assets.Reconcile and analyze balance sheet and income statement accounts monthly and review for variances.Send required documents to local accounts for tax calculations.
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance4 plus years of Accounting Management experience preferably for a manufacturing firm.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office productsStrong communication skills
