Vice President of Operations

Responsibilities:Operational Leadership:Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the PDS national service, ensuring the smooth execution of day-to-day activities and long-term operational objectives.Effectively hire, manage, and inspire high-performing teams of operations managers in support of the business when applicable.Partner with the Project Management Office (PMO), HR, Finance, Marketing, IT and Legal to ensure consistency of delivery, maintain point of contacts and organizational charts and SLA's to achieve desired outcomes for the business.In partnership with the PMO and Portfolio Clients, Services and Industries (PCSI) operations lead and business leadership, develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to drive organizational growth, maintain operational excellence, and meet business goals.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational activities with overall company objectives.
People Experience:Create training programs in partnership with HR and the PMO to develop talent.Maintain consistent communication with teams to ensure alignment with overall business priorities and appropriate cascading including Town Halls, leadership distributions, stakeholder feedback loops, and events.Champion a positive and inclusive work culture, fostering employee engagement, professional development, and talent retention.Collaborate with HR to implement employee programs, policies, and initiatives that enhance the overall people experience.Drive continuous improvement efforts to optimize team performance and foster a collaborative and high-performing work environment.Encourage a culture of continuous learning, performance feedback, and career development within the local teams including understanding resources available such as career framework, career development resources (employee/manager), and Workday resources.
Business Intelligence:Lead business intelligence initiatives, driving data-driven decision-making and optimizing operational efficiency using technology and data warehouses to deliver and measure the business, creating metrics that matter for the business and clients. Including: financial (Revenue/CI/AR), utilization, WIP, client satisfaction, business development, etc.)Review and measure client satisfaction tracking, dashboard, and follow-up. Reporting metrics monthly to the Americas Variable business lead.Develop and implement analytics frameworks and tools to provide real-time insights into operational performance and identify areas for improvement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business intelligence insights into actionable strategies and process improvements.
Risk and Safety Management:Manage Safety program for national service line team, ensuring compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations, implementing appropriate risk mitigation strategies provided by PDS HSSE lead.Report monthly the good catch and near miss dashboard programs and include Safety monitory in monthly national service line leadership calls.Be a Safety Lead Champion, providing recommended updates the program to promote advancement of the Safety program and creating a best in the industry program.Collaborate with teams to promote awareness of CMO and incident reporting policies and investigations.Own risk management processes for national service line in partnership with National Risk Lead, including identifying and assessing operational risks, and implementing controls to minimize their impact.Report monthly status of Risk reviews for national service line, manage regular cadence of Risk status update and partner with PMO team to ensure dashboards and risk reviews are being reported monthly. Run and report peer reviews across regions.Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to mitigate potential risks and uphold business integrity.
Process Optimization:Contribute to achieving the operational efficiency targets by leading efforts to identify inefficiencies, assist in creating roadmap for technology or joint business solutions transition and develop and implement process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce costs, and drive quality outcomes.Implement best practices, lean methodologies, and industry standards to optimize operational workflows.Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging feedback and implementing innovative solutions to streamline processes.
