ABOUT THIS ROLE
St. Michael’s is hiring a Journeyman Budget/Financial Analyst to support a Department of Defense client. As the Journeyman Budget/Financial Analyst, you will monitor and process financial management operations through a variety of execution, oversight, audit, and investigative processes to identify and develop corrective actions for management control issues. You will be in a client-facing role that will benefit from your previous experience assisting with military pay, travel, and accounts payable systems and procedures. Our core value of Teamwork will be paramount to this role as you will supporting the larger team in ensuring obligations and expenditures are executed in accordance with pertinent laws and regulations.
LOCATION
Fort Belvoir, VA (100% On-site)
WHO YOU ARE
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and 10 years’ PPBE experience OR 20 years’ PPBE experience without a degree.
Experience with DoD finance and accounting systems and automated tools.
Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist in analyzing, providing advice and recommendations, and coordinating required actions on SOF mission activities, operational and logistics issues with funding implications for USASOC.
Assist with the tracking, monitoring and funding execution of USASOC's participation in specified SOF mission activities.
Support the monitoring, tracking, and management of funding, and monitor the support provided to the SOF activities and their designated Executive Agents.
