Answer incoming calls from public regarding Holiday programs and servicesRespond to calls from staff and agencies regarding pick up or drop off of supplies and/or donationsAssist with gathering statistical information, especially weekly Angel Tree status reportsAssist with gathering supplies for special events and seasonal campaigns as assignedAssist with preparing routes for Thanksgiving and Christmas Home Delivered MealsAssist with preparing thank you letters to volunteers and donorsRespond to incoming calls/emails and assist in scheduling volunteers as assignedAssist with volunteer & event activity logistics (i.e., directing volunteers to assignment locations, etc) including Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.Assist in managing mailings to volunteers that confirm volunteer assignmentsOther duties as assigned as they relate to the position of Office Assistant.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to operate telephone, a desktop or laptop computer, as well as the ability to access and produce information from a computer, and to understand written information.
