LOCATION: Herberger Center - Phoenix, ArizonaSTATUS: Full-Time Temporary/SeasonalMISSION STATEMENT:The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.The Salvation Army Metro Phoenix department is looking to fill 2 Christmas Seasonal Driver positions. The successful candidates for these positions will have 1-2 years of driving experience and the ability to act in a professional manner.The Christmas Seasonal Driver will pick up donated and purchased items, including Christmas toys, food and water and will deliver them to the central warehouse, Corps and event locations. They will assist with unloading toys & Products and place them in the warehouse or racks. This person will assist with general logistic activities, product rotation, errands related to Christmas projects, general vehicle and warehouse maintenance.QUALIFICATIONS:High School Diploma or GED1-2 years driving experienceAbility to pass a criminal background checkMust have valid Arizona Driver's license with clean a MVRAbility to act in a professional manner with a good attitude and language conducive to The Salvation Army's mission.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Qualified individuals must be able to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
