The Opportunity
LG Ad Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as the Data Visualization Manager. The role will be responsible for leading a team of Data Visualization professionals to develop and manage data-driven solutions that optimize advertising performance, inform strategic decisions, and drive business growth. This role involves overseeing the creation of data models, dashboards, and reports, as well as guiding data analysis efforts to extract actionable insights. The Data Visualization Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Ad Operations, Product, Marketing, and Data Engineering, to ensure that data is leveraged effectively across the organization.
Responsibilities
Team Leadership and DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts and data visualization engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.Set performance goals, conduct regular evaluations, and provide feedback to ensure the team meets business objectives.Oversee the recruitment and onboarding of new team members.Strategic Planning and Execution
Define and implement the Data Visualization strategy in alignment with the company's overall business goals and objectives.Collaborate with senior leadership to identify key business questions and data needs, and translate them into actionable Data Visualization projects.Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality Data Visualization solutions, including data models, dashboards, reports, and analyses.Data Architecture and Management
Oversee the design and development of scalable data models and ETL processes to support reporting and analytics needs across the AdTech ecosystem.Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability by establishing and enforcing data governance standards.Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate new data sources and optimize the performance of data warehouses.Reporting and Analytics
Lead the creation and maintenance of dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as ad spend, return on ad spend (ROAS), click-through rates (CTR), and other critical metrics.Drive the use of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modeling and machine learning, to uncover deeper insights and optimize advertising performance.Ensure that Data Visualization tools and reporting solutions are user-friendly, accessible, and aligned with business objectives.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with Ad Operations, Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to understand their data needs and deliver tailored Data Visualization solutions.Serve as the primary point of contact for data-related inquiries and ensure that insights are effectively communicated to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Facilitate data-driven decision-making across the organization by providing timely and relevant insights.Continuous Improvement and InnovationContinuous Improvement and Innovation
Stay current with the latest BI tools, technologies, and industry trends, and implement best practices to enhance the organization's Data Visualization capabilities.Identify opportunities to streamline Data Visualization processes, improve data quality, and increase the efficiency of data analysis efforts.Foster a culture of innovation within the Data Visualization team, encouraging the exploration of new methods and technologies to drive business value.Data Governance and Compliance
Stay current with the latest Data Visualization tools, technologies, and industry trends, and implement best practices to enhance the organization's Data Visualization capabilities.Identify opportunities to streamline Data Visualization processes, improve data quality, and increase the efficiency of data analysis efforts.Foster a culture of innovation within the Data Visualization team, encouraging the exploration of new methods and technologies to drive business value.Requirements
EducationBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.Experience
5-7+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role, preferably within the AdTech industry.Proven track record of leading BI and Data Visualization projects from inception to completion, including the design and implementation of data models, ETL processes, and reporting solutions.Strong experience with BI and Data Visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar platforms.Advanced SQL skills and experience with data warehousing solutions.Familiarity with AdTech metrics, digital advertising platforms, and related data sources (e.g., Google Ad Manager, The Trade Desk).Skills
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing Data Visualization team.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering actionable insights that drive business outcomes.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.Deep understanding of the digital advertising ecosystem, including programmatic advertising, ad exchanges, and yield optimization.Preferred Skills
Experience with scripting languages like Python or R for data analysis and automation.Knowledge of machine learning models and predictive analytics in the context of advertising.Experience working with real-time data streaming and monitoring tools.Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.Hands-on experience working with Databricks
