The

Business Development Manager

is responsible for driving and executing the

ChampionX Theta Production & Optimization

sales strategy that leads to revenue growth. This is a highly visible role that requires a unique combination of strategic thinking and tactical sales execution.

Responsible for new business growth opportunities for the ChampionX Theta Automation business unit.Support the development of the Theta business sales strategy and implement its execution.Identify and establish strategic business relationships with major operators, including developing, and driving strategic account plans.Work closely with all customers to understand business needs and recommend solutions that assist the customer in meeting their productivity objectives; listen, understand, and convey customer requirements.Partner with Customer Success team to deliver technical presentation that provide solutions to targeted customers through Theta automation solutions.Maintain working knowledge of automation software trends, business market trends, and competing technologies, as well as market lead pricing propositions for designated areas.Advise and consult with internal business partners on business development initiatives and plans.Participate in the regional leadership meetings, present business development plans, updates, and reports to leadership.Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in engineering, Business, or related field8 yrs experience in a sales manager, business development or sales engineer roleStrong sales network within oil and gas with a proven success in acquiring new customersStrategic mindset, with the ability to develop sales strategies, analytical and implementation skillsAbility and willingness to get into detail to resolve problemsStrong negotiation skillsStrong communication, interpersonal and organizational skillsCompetitive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to enthusiastically represent the companyAvailability to travel within the US as required up to 50%Valid driver's license in state of residence requiredImmigration sponsorship not offered for this rolePreferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of Automation, Enterprise Software and IIOT for the Oil & Gas industry.Knowledge of Artificial Lift and Well OptimizationPhysical Demands:
