Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Product Development & PLM Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role will support the product development process by managing various tasks related to Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and facilitating communication with factories. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring that our products meet quality standards and are delivered on time, without the expectation of growing into a design role.
Responsibilities
PLM Management
Assist in the opening and tracking of styles in the PLM system.Maintain accurate records and documentation for all product lines, including fabric and color specifications.Communication with Factories
Serve as the primary point of contact for factories regarding comments and inquiries.Submit comments, track responses, and follow up to ensure timely resolutions.Sample Coordination
Manage lap dips, strike-offs, and sample approvals, ensuring that timelines are met.Coordinate with internal teams to gather necessary feedback for approvals.Documentation
Maintain organized files for all product development documentation, including specifications, comments, and approvals.Assist in preparing reports and presentations for internal meetings.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with the design, merchandising, and production teams to ensure alignment throughout the product development process.Participate in meetings to communicate project status and gather feedback from stakeholders.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Fashion Merchandising, Business Administration)Strong organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent communication skills, both written and verbalProficiency in PLM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environmentA proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
Hybrid Work Schedule
3 days a week in the office, 2 days work from home
New York Pay Rate $21.50 - $25.00 per hour
