The
Human Resources Manager
serves as a key advisor and partner to senior leadership, aligning HR strategies with business goals to drive organizational success. This role will lead the development and implementation of HR initiatives in areas such as talent management, employee relations, employee engagement, workforce planning, and organizational development. The Human Resources Manager will oversee one HRBP direct report, fostering a high-performance HR team dedicated to supporting and advancing the needs of the business. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong leadership and problem-solving skills, adept at translating business needs into actionable HR strategies in a production & manufacturing environment.
Your Responsibilities:Strategic HR Partnership : Act as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and employees within assigned business unit(s), ensuring HR initiatives align with organizational goals and provide meaningful impact.Talent Management : Oversee strategies for talent acquisition, development, and retention, ensuring the company attracts, develops, and retains top talent.Performance Management : Lead performance management processes, coaching leaders on best practices for continuous feedback, performance assessments, and employee development.Direct Report Management : Provide mentorship, guidance, and performance management to the HRBP direct report, promoting their professional development and growth.Employee Relations:
Resolve employee relations concerns, including investigations and disciplinary actions consistent with our culture and mission.Workforce Planning : Partner with the business to analyze workforce trends, understand staffing models, and implement succession planning to support the business's long-term talent needs.Employee Engagement : Drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement, improve workplace culture, and foster a positive employee experience.Organizational Development : Support organizational design and change management initiatives to align team structures with business strategies and improve efficiency.Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) : Partner with leadership to implement and support DEI initiatives, cultivating an inclusive workplace culture.Policy and Compliance : Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with all federal, state, and local employment laws and align with organizational objectives. To include customer contractual requirements including Affirmative Action Plans and HIPAA compliance.HR Data Analytics : Utilize HR analytics tools to provide insights into workforce trends, informing data-driven decisions and reporting findings to leadership.Cross-functional Collaboration : Partner on a daily basis with HR Centers of Excellence (e.g., Compensation & Benefits, Learning & Development, Talent Acquisition) to deliver comprehensive HR solutions.Project Leadership : Lead or support HR projects and initiatives that drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and employee satisfaction.You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years of managing direct report(s)
OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and employment lawsProven track record in strategic planning, organizational development, and change managementExperience managing, mentoring, and developing direct reportsExcellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills with the ability to meet others where they are, and flex communication style based on the needs of the businessAnalytical mindset with proficiency in HR metrics, reporting, and data analysisAbility to influence senior leaders and drive initiatives across multiple teamsIntermediate to advanced proficiency with HRIS systems, Microsoft Office, and HR analytics tools (Experience using Workday is a plus)We Would Also Prefer:
Experience providing strategic HR Support in a manufacturing environmentHR Certification is a plus (SHRM/HRCI)Experience using Workday for HRIS/ATSBilingual capability is a plusKey Competencies
