Salary:FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your areas of responsibility:
The Production Planner will be responsible for master scheduling and production planning for high volume, low volume, and bulk grease products.
Other essential duties include:Develop production schedules to meet all finished goods requirements while optimizing capacity and inventory levelsWork with Sales and Operations to plan, develop and establish production schedules to meet customer demandsMonitor the manufacturing schedule throughout the month and anticipate possible changes as needed due to batch failure, equipment failure, or lack of resources (material, labor, etc.)Coordinate with buyers, production, quality, sales, customer service, and shipping to maintain service level goalsUtilize the Company MRP system to:
Determine whether sufficient raw material and component inventory exists to produce the quantity of product required.Verify manufacturing lead times and available capacity.
Review raw material demands to anticipate shortages.Provide leadership support/role in Daily/Weekly Planning meetings.Generate capacity plans for applicable manufacturing cells.Qualifications we are looking for:
Bachelor's degree in business related field2+ years experience in production planning in a manufacturing environmentAPICS certification preferredAdvanced Excel skillsExperience with MRP/ERP systems (SAP or Dynamics GP preferred)Proficiency with MS Office suite
