Salary:
FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.
Your Responsibilities:
The Production Scheduler while reporting to the Plant Manager will perform all essential functions of production scheduling process, plan-ning methods including but not limited to:
Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adherence to schedules and meet customer expectations.Regularly review, analyze, and adjust the production schedule to prevent delays and maintain adherence.Verify and order raw materials from the warehouse to ensure timely batch production.Review multiple plant schedules with leadership to ensure timely completion and report to supply chain departments.Lead daily production schedule meetings with various departments to review and collaborate on current needs.Serve as the main contact for operations regarding the status of batches on the production schedule.Communicate with various teams when batches are on hold and interact with departments such as Supply Chain, Manufacturing, QC, and Sales to support schedule adherence.Develop and plan and confirm inbound and outbound tank truck and rail schedules, confirming shipment dates and times.Write and maintain updated Production Scheduling Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Perform Site Cycle Count Processes.Perform other functions as needed to ensure operational excellence and other duties as assigned by the leadership team.Qualifications we are looking for:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Business Administration Degree is a plus.3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred; 2+ years of operations scheduling experience preferred.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and accuracy, ability to work closely with other departments, strong troubleshooting skills.Proficiency in MS Office and experience with ERP/SAP systems required.
