We are seeking an experienced

Process Specialist-Hot End

for our

Ranson, WV

location. The position is scheduled for

Dayshift, Monday-Friday (with some flexibility).

As a Process Specialist at ROCKWOOL, you will provide leadership and technical expertise to the production process as well as the maintenance department in coordinating tasks that require continuous improvement, project management, and automation programming. You will be instrumental in the planning and development of projects encompassing process improvements, provide training to factory personnel, creating, updating, and auditing work instructions and safe work procedures.

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferred.Basic knowledge of Siemens PLC Control System preferred.Previous experience in a continuous flow manufacturing or industrial environment and working with automated equipment required.Understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement principles.Ability to travel to other factory locations as needed for training and support - up to 10% of the time.Act as a ROCKWOOL ambassador demonstrating our core values of Ambition, Integrity, Responsibility and Efficiency.Demonstrated or proven:

Organizational and analytical skills.Basic computer knowledge and skills.Acute attention to detail.Written and verbal communication skills.Problem-solving and trouble shooting skills.

What you will be doing:

Equipment monitoring and optimization in area of responsibility with a focus on operational uptime and waste reduction while seeking opportunities to improve operational standards.Plan, analyze and control the quality of manufacturing processes, making equipment orders and improving or developing new work instructions and safety guideline for equipment use and maintenance.Working closely with the production team to assess day-to-day results and analyze reporting and data from technicians as part of regular status updates.Ensure data is entered into the RockFact system is completed within the company rules and procedures.In cooperation with GSP, ensure that all new auxiliaries are tested and documented in order to secure a smooth transition when new materials are introduced to the manufacturing process.Participate in testing and optimization of new and existing products.Contribute to on-going development and optimization of processes, equipment, machinery, and tools.Take a leadership role providing training to new hires and other team members on relevant processes and equipment operation to ensure safe-work practices and continuous skills improvement.Participate in testing and optimization of new and existing products.
