Job Summary:
We are looking for a Cage Operations Manager who will be responsible for supervising a staff consisting of an Assistant Manager, Shift Supervisors, and Cashiers.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Trains and develops employees to their fullest potential.Responsible for control over the company's casino and hotel cash on hand inventory.Protects company assets by reviewing cashiers' transactions for accuracy.Investigates cashiers' variances and reports inaccuracy and variance to General Manager & CFO.Performs disciplinary action when needed.Generates employee evaluations in a timely manner.Writing of all cage procedures and policies. Ensures staff is aware of all newly implemented procedures and policies.Training and testing of all Cage personnel on Title 31 and SARC requirements.Checks and ensures all Title 31 and SARC documentation complies with regulation standards.Strong interaction and rapport with all other internal departments.Responsible for personnel changes including hiring, promoting, demoting, and terminating of cage employees.Authorizing of time off that is requested after ensuring full coverage.Hands on management of all staff inquiries and concerns.Ensures quality and prompt customer service.Covers shifts or windows as business demands warrant.Responsible for Credit and Collections Department. Functions include but not limited to authorization of in-house credit lines, creation and mailing of statements, collections, and arbitrations, requesting payment from patrons, and write-off of uncollectible funds.Responsible for distribution and purchasing of department supplies.Balances, maintains, and reconciles to a fixed departmental budget.Responsible for preparing and transmitting department attendance and payroll.Responsible for table games clerical work.Promotes and supports good work ethic as a leader of positive moral.Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.At least five years of experience in working a high-volume casino cage is required.Previous experience in a supervisory role preferred.Requirements
Requires repetitive movement with the ability to stand and/or walk for an entire shift.Department heads and supervisor staff will have 24/7 access to your expertise via cell phone.Must be able to work in an environment with exposure to secondhand smoke and high noise levels.
