We are currently looking for a full-time
Server
to work within our Independent Living community at The WesleyanServers and Waitstaff are responsible for ensuring an extraordinary dining experience for all of our residents. Experience in the hospitality industry along with outstanding customer service skills and a passion for making the dining experience an exceptional one is essential for success in this position. As a Server at The Wesleyan, you will be making it matter every day in the lives of our residents and you will also be an integral part of a mission and values-based organization that provides endless opportunities for career growth.
Shift Schedule: 10:30AM-7:00PM week days and occasional weekends
Essential Job Functions:Provides quality customer service to customers by providing one on one attention to the detail.Participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items in adherence to company food standards for presentation, sanitation and safety (meeting HACCP and OSHA guidelines) and portion control.Prepares drinks, salads, foods and desserts and set them up as directed.Cleans work area and equipment used in food preparation and service.General cleaning duties may include dishes, pots and pans, equipment, dining room, floors, tables work areas etc.Put away groceries and supplies.Follows all safety and sanitation procedures. Delivers food items to and from main kitchen.Promotes clean, safe and neat environment for residents, self and staff.Cooperates with staff of other departments in performing job duties.Other duties may be assignedQualifications & Experience:
High School Diploma, GED preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.Demonstrate safe and correct use of environmental services equipment and chemicals used daily within the department.Must have a service-minded approach to all aspects of the job.A passion for working within a senior living community is a plus.Alignment with and enthusiasm about The Wesleyan's culture and core values.Benefits:
