An insurance company is hiring a Director - Actuarial Transformation to join their team. This will be supporting the Actuarial Transformation initiatives, with the goal being to automate business solutions for the actuary team. There is a strong preference for candidates to have exposure to actuarial and financial analysis in past roles, specifically within risk management. FSA or ASA required. The day to day includes overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of actuarial models on the technology platform. As Director, this person will oversee business strategy and decision-making processes. Must have some actuarial modeling system experience, preferably with GGY Axis. Required Skills & Experience- 8+ years of experience in the Actuary space-Actuarial modeling experience, preference for GGY Axis-Strong leadership skills, cross divisionally-Actuarial credentials (ASA or FSA)-Self-starter, comfortable leading initiatives and being communicative in a remote environment Nice to Have Skills & Experience-Experience leading a transformation within the Actuary space-Technical background within Actuarial Development Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
