Responsibilities
•Research and analyze financial data and prepare reports to present to upper management.•Monitor and forecast cash flows and prepare budgets as well as regular updates as needed.•Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, contract billing, and payroll processes.•Create and maintain an accurate WIP, debt schedule, and asset schedule.•Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end statements.•Ensure accurate and timely filing of all necessary tax documents.•Maintain Subcontractor compliance, prepare for and assist with Workman Comp & General Liability audit.
Qualifications
•Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a relevant field.•CPA Certification or comparable qualifications 2+ years of progressively responsible experience in a public/corporate accounting environment.•Demonstrated knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).•Proficiency in the use of accounting systems (e.g. Sage300, QuickBooks, etc.).•Superior analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
