Part-Time Electrical Instructor (Residential and Commercial) (Evenings)
General Description:
This part-time position is in the Adult Education division. The instructor will guide the classroom and lab learning experiences for the students preparing to be Electricians. The Electrical Instructor will report to the Director of Instruction via the Adult Education Coordinator.
Qualifications:
Two years' experience working in Electrical requiredCurrent work in the Electrical field preferredPast experience in adult education teaching or training preferredPossess good knowledge of content, curriculum, methods, materials, and tools of the Electrical programAbility to plan and implement lessons based on program and school objectives and the needs and abilities of students to whom assignedAbility to move about in classroom/lab to check student work and monitor behavior/learningAbility to establish and maintain effective relationships with students and peersAbility to communicate effectively, both orally and in writingPossess excellent human relations skills and serve as a role model for students
Length of Contract:
Part-time
Salary:
$29 per hour
