Overview:ConGlobal is looking to hire an experienced Depot Manager for our new location in Shafter, CA. The result is an ever-growing list of services and technology to meet ever-evolving needs.Our application of and access to new smart, connected, and living technologies will provide supply chain resiliency with safety, service, and a platform for growth, unlike other single service providers.The Depot Operations Manager is responsible the day to day as it relates to safety and efficient operations ie: to plan, direct and coordinate activities related to inspection, repair, maintenance, and storage of equipment (containers, chassis, refrigerated containers, gensets, etc.), and equipment sales. The Depot Operations Manager will assist in developing and leading a highly effective team which is responsible to provide excellent service to internal and external Customers.In this role you will oversee the Depot location in Shafter, CA.Responsibilities:
Railyard Terminal ManagerLeads terminal to ensure KPIs are met, train performance including: Lifts per Hour & Cost per Hour, etc.This position is a "Working Manager" role that would require you to workout doors and stand for long periods at a time.Accountable for overall P&L responsibilitiesDevelops and drives existing staff to enhance engagement & retention within the DepotBuilds collaborative partnerships between ConGlobal and local railroad officersActs as key point of contact between ConGlobal and our customersEnforces and upholds all ConGlobal rules, regulations, and policiesApproaches violations with care and administers disciplinary actions when requiredMonitors and approves terminal purchases for payment & manages purchases within budgetApproves weekly time & attendance and ensures data is accurate and timelyPartners with talent acquisition to ensure the terminal is fully staffedOwns the training and orientation process of all employees to ensure their ongoing successProvides Depot metrics & reports as neededOther duties as assigned (administrative & non-administrative)What We offer:Competitive pay, Full benefit package including Medical, Vision, Dental, 401K, PTO, Career Advancement Opportunities, Paid Training and much more!Qualifications:
RequirementsMinimum 7 years Intermodal, transportation, logistics or supply chain management experience5+ years leadership experienceBachelors degree preferred or related experienceExceptional organizational, multi-tasking and time management skillsExcellent communication skills are mandatoryProficient in outlook and MS office suite of productsPossess strong work ethicOpen availability required (shifts, weekends, & holiday)Willingness to work in varying weather conditionsPlease note: All positions require pre-employment background verification, physical review, and pre-employment drug screen.
