About This role:
Carrier is seeking an Sr. Manager, Experiential Marketing and Sponsorships reporting to the Associate Director, Experiential Marketing for the Carrier World Headquarters team to lead the development and execution of impactful customer experiences. The role includes strategic planning for meetings, events, and trade shows. In addition, this role will play an integral role in developing and fostering sponsorship relationships. This role will ensure that all initiatives align with our corporate goals and marketing objectives.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and possesses strong project and event management skills. They have proven experience in activating brands and offering guidance on brand standards within experiential settings. They are proficient in managing a diverse range of stakeholders-including executive leadership, vendors, and key customers.
This position is based in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
Key Responsibilities:Oversee the Carrier brand in experiential environments, including events, meetings, tradeshows, and sponsorships.Manage various elements of events, such as logistics and branding, while ensuring smooth execution.Develop repeatable processes, templates, and best practices to optimize and scale event programs. Collaborate with global cross-functional teams to align and integrate initiatives.Establish KPIs and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of event programs, analyze data to refine strategies, and demonstrate ROI to senior management.Assist in sponsorship contract negotiations.Manage vendor relationships.Stay current with industry trends and technology, sharing best practices within the team.Utilize event management software and platforms effectively.Provide on-site support during events as needed.Infuse energy, creativity, and new ideas to drive team success.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree7 + years of experience marketing, communications, tradeshows, sponsorship, and/or advertisingPreferred Qualifications:
Master's Degree with 5+ years of experience and advanced to expert-level knowledgeProven experience in brand activation within various experiential marketing environments.Strong marketing knowledge with experience in consulting on brand standards.Demonstrated ability in event planning, project management, and budget management.Skilled at reviewing contracts and solving complex problems and managing issues effectively.Exceptional organizational and time management skills with a meticulous attention to detail.Outstanding interpersonal skills, including emotional intelligence, social intelligence, and conflict resolution.Strong leadership capabilities with the ability to make strong recommendations and influencing others.Strategic and analytical thinker with a track record of successful event management and continuous improvement.Demonstrated creativity and innovation in developing event ideas and approaches.Proven ability to deliver high-quality work with a strong work ethic.Ability to multitask and work efficiently under tight deadlines.Proficient in event management and business software programs (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
