Summary:

The Houseperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining designated areas of the hotel and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Assure cleanliness of hotel grounds, entrances, storage facilities, trash areas, guest and back-of-house hallways, elevators, staircases, and guest roomsCommunicate efficiently with managers regarding maintenance issues, room damage, or missing propertyInteract with teammates and guests in a friendly and professional wayDeliver items to hotel guests as directedAssist with TV remotes, TV boxes, thermostats, jacuzzi tubs, light fixtures, phones, and moving furnitureSupport laundry and/or housekeeping departments when neededDistribute linen, housekeeping supplies, and room amenities properlyProperly stock carts with cleaning and paper suppliesAdditional tasks may be assigned at any given timeRequirements

Qualifications:

Ability to lift 40 lbs. or less, maneuver up and down stairs with no difficulty, and stand on feet 95% of scheduled shiftFlexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.Strong task and time management abilitiesBenefits:
