Summary:
The Hotel Housekeeper/Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms in order to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. They ensure that all rooms are inviting and clean, and they address all guest inquiries politely and knowledgeably.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare rooms for cleaningMake bedsDust rooms and furnitureReplenish guestroom and bathroom suppliesClean the bathroomClean the closetVacuum and rack the carpetCheck and secure the roomsDeliver and retrieve items on loan to guests (e.g. iron and ironing boards)Ensure public areas, such as hallways, are cleaned and orderlyAbility to lift 50 lbs. and walk, sit, or stand for extended periods timeAbility to work independently and with a teamManage guest calls, requests, & complaints in the area assigned to themAdditional tasks may be assigned at any given timeRequirements
Qualifications:
Experience is not necessary for this role, just the ability to want to learnProfessional attitude is requiredMust be available weekends and HolidaysBenefits:
