Government Jobs - Full-Time - $20.23 - $23.77 Hourly JOB SUMMARY Under the general direction of the Assistant Public Works Director, the Heavy Equipment Operator operates a variety of heavy equipment in the maintenance, repair, and construction of streets, roads, alleys, water and sewer lines, drainage facilities and hauling solid waste and construction materials. Participates in general maintenance and labor activities as necessary for timely completion of projects and/or work orders.
