M-D is currently seeking a Plant Manager for our Brooklet, Georgia location. The Plant Manager will oversee the full spectrum of operations at our plastics and vinyl extrusion manufacturing facility, ensuring seamless production processes that meet efficiency, safety, and quality standards. This position will be responsible for driving performance across production, maintenance, quality control, logistics and safety teams to achieve operational excellence. By managing resources effectively and adhering to budgetary constraints, the Plant Manager will ensure that production goals are consistently met on time, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.Responsibilities:Manage daily production operations to consistently meet output targets.Develop and manage annual budgets, track and analyze KPI's, and overall P&L activity.Troubleshoot and resolve operational, manufacturing, & maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.Maintain a routine inspection and maintenance schedule for all plant equipment.Lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team of plant employees.Identify and develop high potential employees for levels of greater responsibility and scope.Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, employees, and managers.Drive and instill a culture of continuous improvement.Drive a culture of safety, promote a safe work environment, ensuring safety compliance with all local, state, and federal safety & environmental lawsMinimum Qualifications:5+ years of experience in plant management or a similar role preferably within a plant setting.Proven experience in managing plant operations, production processes, and maintenance.Strong understanding of safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Preferred Skills:BS/BA Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Materials, or Business AdministrationStrong written and verbal communications skills across all levels of an organization.Must have strong Microsoft Office, e-mail, and other PC application skills.Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions.
