All while understanding that **together** we are even better.**Schedule:** **Full Time****Shift** : Days, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.**Location:** 601 East Rollins Street Orlando, FL 32803**The community youll be caring for:** _AdventHealth Orlando_+ Located on a lush tropical campus, our flagship hospital, 1,368-bed AdventHealth Orlando+ Serves as the major tertiary facility for much of the Southeast, the Caribbean and South America+ AdventHealth Orlando houses one of the largest Emergency Departments and largest cardiac catheterization labs in the country+ We are already one of the busiest hospitals in the nation, providing service excellence to more than 32,000 inpatients and 125,000 outpatients each year**The role youll contribute:**The Development Manager of Market Business Development works directly with the Market Business Development team, AdventHealth Medical Group, Institute Leadership, IHS senior leadership and campus leadership to develop and implement planning and market development initiatives that elevate the brand and align with the Central Florida Division' s strategic plan and priorities. The Development Manager works closely with senior leadership in consulting and developing deployment and operating plans for the growth initiatives identified for the division. The Development Manager leads engagements with physicians and senior leadership. The Development Manager must have a passion for delivering high-quality and high-touch services to our community and have a genuine commitment to maintaining positive relationships with physicians. The Development Manager must be high energy, committed to producing individual results, and possess drive and desire to work in a fast-paced, high-growth, team-based environment. Actively participates in outstanding customer services and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.**The value youll bring to the team:**Develops all business plans and drives the proforma process. Supports the Market Business Development team to ensure all parties are informed, approvals are received, and implementation of strategies is successful.Regularly reviews market dynamics and trends, and reports findings to senior leadership. Identifies, researches and analyzes short-term and long-term market development strategies to develop and strengthen the brand and align to the Central Florida Division strategies.Directly interfaces with AHMG physicians and senior leadership for physician alignment, strategy, and ensuring financial stability and market growth.Supports the preparation of the business cases for new physician recruits by assessing the market for physician needs.Maintains knowledge and awareness of industry and market trends through seminars, workshops, and professional affiliations to keep abreast of changes that may influence business strategy.Accountable for creation of comprehensive work plans. Responsible for all communication throughout the development life cycle of new strategies. Communication format may be verbal, written, or in presentation format and may include communicating performance updates to Executive and Senior Leadership.Manages multiple priorities as required and balances work by taking ownership of operational planning tasks related to individual projects under the direction of Senior Leadership.Manages, participates in, and facilitates project committees in the accomplishment of Market Business Development goals by arranging meetings, agendas, presentations, process flows, minutes and applicable project data. Manages logistics and coordinates events.Assists in the identification, analysis and resolution of system or process problems and quickly collects data to establish facts in order to determine the cause of these problems. Tracks and follows-up on issues; contacts and works with appropriate operational staff to resolve issues.Coordinates and facilitates meetings with potential physician recruits, existing physicians, and physicians during onboarding and senior AHMG leadership and/or Hospital leadership.Assimilates past experiences and job knowledge to solve problems in a timely manner. Works closely with the Market Business Development team members in troubleshooting and/or problem solving.Collaborates with IHS departments to ensure strategic and operational requirements are incorporated and appropriately executed, such as working closely with AdventHealth Medical Group and other ambulatory entities on the space planning of new medical office space.KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE STRONGLY PREFERRED:Strong organizational skills, self-directed, and ability to manage multiple priorities/projectsMust have knowledge of JCAHO requirements and local, state, and federal regulations.Effective oral and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information in understandable terms to all levels of leadership, physicians, and staffAnalytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think creativelyAbility to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams across department linesAbility to manage and work with a diverse group of individuals, while striving for excellence Advanced ability to interact with and influence senior leadersAbility to research, prepare comprehensive reports, and recommend and implement successful strategies Ability to develop and initiate, in conjunction with key stakeholders and physicians, strategies for growth and development.Proven knowledge in the business of healthcareAbility to read, analyze and report on financial statements and market reportsAbility to accept responsibility for actions and results, with a drive to achieve and outperform, while continuously looking for improvementsKNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:Market analytics knowledgeStrategy development skillsConsumer and/or physician marketing skillsQualifications**The expertise and experiences youll need to succeed** **:**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelors and 2 years experience EEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE PREFERRED:Master's degree in health care administration, business, marketing/public relations or related field Previous experience in a high-acuity, large healthcare systemLICENSURE, CERTIFICATION OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED:Driver's LicenseThis facility is an equal opportunity employer and complies with federal, state and local anti-discrimination laws, regulations and ordinances.
