We are looking for people who want to be a part of something bigger, something special, something life changing.Director of OperationsDescription of duties:As our Director of Operations, you will be the architect behind the day-to-day workings of our production center. You will lead and optimize all operational aspects, from receipt of devices to order fulfillment and everything in between. This is a hands-on role where you will have the freedom to innovate, but with the responsibility of ensuring that every detail contributes to a smooth and efficient process. You will lead our Operations Leadership Team consisting of a Sr. Production Manager and Sr. Warehouse Manager, guiding them and holding them accountable.· Lead, Manage, and be held Accountable for the Operations of the company.· Lead, develop, and manage all operational processes from supply chain management to product fulfillment.· Oversee all aspects of the Operations Center, ensuring all standards for quality, safety, and efficiency are met.· Create and refine systems that allow for operational scalability as we expand.· Ensure that devices are processed efficiently and at a low cost.· Lead Operations to allow all Client terms to be met in a timely manner.· Ensure that inventory management is accurate, forecasted correctly, and orders are fulfilled quickly.· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and maximize productivity.· Monitor KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions.· Cultivate a strong, motivated team with a focus on continuous improvement.· Lead and apply EOS processes and techniques in operations.· Report to and work with the COO on all operational matters.· Perform other related duties as assigned by the COO.Qualifications/Requirements:Education:· Bachelors degree in operations management, business administration, or related field.Skills & Abilities:· 3-5 years manufacturing leadership experience in a multi-products environment.· 3-5 years Distribution experience including Receiving, Parcel and LTL shipments, and Inventory Management.· Experience with a major ERP system (preferably NetSuite).· Experience managing a facility with 60 or more people.· Experience managing a product flow of $25M or greater (or 300k units or greater).· Lean Manufacturing experience.· Work Order management experience.· Experience with value-added services associated with order fulfillment.· Ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and understandable manner.· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for thinking outside the box.· A leadership style characterized by direct and transparent communication, humility, and a willingness to admit mistakes.· Experience with MS Office365– must be proficient with technology, learn systems quickly, and understand various software systems.Other:· Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.· Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.· Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship.SLM takes pride in being an equal opportunity employer.
