IT Manager

Description of duties:

A Manager of Information Technology works with the leadership team to support the ongoing operations and business continuity of the company, identify opportunities for technical automation and improvement, identify solutions to meet those opportunities, and deliver and maintain those solutions.

This position is responsible for all software applications (NetSuite ERP, Salesforce CRM/SFA, integration tools, data destruction and automated testing software, etc.), technical infrastructure (networks, servers, desktops, scanners, printers, etc.), company-wide cyber security solution, business reporting, and project management.

  • Lead, Manage and hold accountable 3-5 direct reports.
  • Manage and enhance the NetSuite ERP system to support business activity in the areas of procure-to-pay, device processing (WIP), inventory management, sales order management, and core financials
  • Manage and enhance the Salesforce CRM system to support all procurement activity, including contact management, opportunity management, and purchase order management
  • Establish automation around extended business processes through tight system-system integration, with a primary focus on the ERP and CRM systems
  • Integrate ERP and CRM systems with warehouse automation systems, business intelligence systems, and on-line eCommerce platforms
  • Establish a business continuity plan that meets the uptime, data protection, recovery time, capacity, and performance levels required by the business
  • Administer, maintain, and monitor all systems
  • Provide Help Desk services to the business with quick response times and acceptable closure rates
  • Assess, recommend, and implement cyber security policies, software, and tools to properly protect all electronic systems and data
  • Monitor, respond to, and mitigate all identified risks and suspicious events
  • Manage the data model and ensure that control data and transactional data are accurate
  • Work with the business to define and deliver operational metrics for each critical business process
  • Define project scope, project approach and strategy for a successful outcome
  • Create and manage project plans, including tasks, owners, due dates, and milestones
  • Establish and manage project acceptance criteria
  • Report to and work with the CFO, COO and CEO on all technology matters.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications/Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field

Skills & Abilities:

  • A proven record of accomplishment (at least 7 years) of excellence in a leadership role in technology, demonstrating expertise in a wide range of areas and departments.
  • Ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a talent for thinking outside the box.
  • Extensive experience in infrastructure, cyber security, and software development.
  • A leadership style characterized by direct and transparent communication, humility, and a willingness to admit mistakes.
  • The ability to simplify information and projects.
  • Strong mathematical and financial acumen, with the ability to communicate these concepts effectively.
  • Experience with MS Office365– must be proficient with technology, learn systems quickly and understand various software systems.

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
  • Must be eligible to work in the us without sponsorship.
