Job DescriptionBoutique litigation firm is seeking a paralegal to join their team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare documents for court filing, e-filing and service, maintain electronic files organizedCalendar appearances, depositions and deadlinesSupport attorneys in all phases of litigation including documents review and production, propounding/responding to discovery, interview of witnesses and experts, draft pleadings and subpoena recordsAssist attorneys with pre-trial and trial assignments including draft motions, deposition designations, witness and exhibit selection, maintain trial task list, among other trial related assignments.Communicate efficiently with attorneys to ensure all deadlines are met in a timely mannerQUALIFICATIONS;
Bachelor's degreeAt least one year of paralegal or relevant legal assistant experienceSpanish speakingProficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs preferredTech savvyFamiliar with filing and e-filingExcellent oral and written communication skillsDetail oriented with the ability to manage multiple prioritiesExperience preparing documents for court filing and serviceExperience assisting attorneys with all aspects of discovery and trial preparationsExperience calendaring hearings and deadlinesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamTHE LAW FIRM ENVIRONMENT INCLUDES:
